Random Thought Saturday

I've been away for a while.  Trust me, I've had random thought, but just been a little busy.

We are getting ready to make a big move to Cali soon. 

Am I excited?  Marginally.

Am I thrilled to shed some of the ridiculous files I have to handle?  Heck Yeah!!!

Does the thought of moving myself, my children and part of a household across the country make me tired just thinking about it?  You know it!!

However, the possibility of being able to own my own home makes it all worth it.

Do I have anything to rant and rave about...not really.

I just think it's funny that someone thought I would rain down a race war because some silly girl/woman-thing thinks that it is still OK to refer to people of color as 'colored.'  I think she was having an out of body John Mayer moment.  Stupid things stay falling out of his mouth.

As you know, I would have had to put her in her place, but I certainly wouldn't have caused a race war.  That's funny :).

I think that if I were more politically-minded and socially aware, I'd be a much more dangerous mind.  That dangerous mind would have tried to call forth the utter destruction and eradication of the poor soul that made the "colored" remark. 

Question: Can you be a black nationalist and married to someone that isn't black.  Would that be like David Duke married to Condoleeza Rice?  Would that be like Louis Farrakhan (sp?) married to Barbara Walters?

Let's just say that I'm an aware individual.
